Audra Bayette | Brooksby Farm Wedding at Smith Barn

Friday, October 1st, 2010

This beautiful barn wedding photographed by Audra Bayette has such great details.  One of my favorites?  The pies!  I love the idea of having pies instead of a wedding cake – especially for a barn wedding.  The homestyle atmosphere was perfect for the barn venue, and from the looks of it, it seems like every single person had a blast!  The homemade koozies and the apple butter favors/name cards are so awesome.  I love how the favors double as name cards … DIY, money-saver, and super adorable.  And if you scroll down to the very bottom … you will find the most adorable part : ) three little kiddies with fake mustaches and boas, having fun playing dress-up in the photo booth!   Check out the gorgeous photographs below and see the full wedding on Audra Bayette’s blog!

Orchard Cove Photography | A Preppy Meets Rustic Wedding

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Avery and Ben’s wedding was a J. Crew meets Lily Pulitzer meets a more rustic, cozy style.  All of the elements came together so nicely, and the attire was Adorable with a capital A.  Also, the brides hair was like, miles long of gorgeousness and her up-do was so fitting!  I love all of the twists.  And while we’re still on the subject of attire – check out the groom’s tie .. yes .. that is a tequila shot tie.  LOVE IT.  I’ve never seen anything like it … props for finding that one, groom.  There were also two adorable lab pups that were involved in the wedding festivities and they seemed to enjoy themselves quite nicely!  Check out this beautiful wedding photographed by Orchard Cove Photography below and see the full wedding as featured on Orchard Cove Photography’s blog.

Relive Photography | Stonewall Farm Wedding

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Vintage and farms …. LOVE IT.  Two styles that seamlessly go together in this beautiful wedding.  The bride’s red shoes are killer and the grooms adidas are totally what my brother is wearing at his wedding .. this is a good thing, I’m liking that style a lot.  I love the casual style and the romantic barn setting.  Also, how cute is it that the bride and groom incorporate the farm animals into their photography!  Brave.  I might have a slight fear of birds/poultry.  But the photographs are just stunning and Relive Photography did an amazing job at capturing all of the moments, even the animals and the jumping shots – who knew jumping shots could actually look that fun!   I think the sillier you jump, the better the photograph.  Check out the wedding below and see the full feature on Relive Photography’s blog!

Diana Ma Weddings | Real Wedding

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

Dogs, dessert buffet’s, and DIY photo booths.  3 things on my oh-goodness-i-love-this list … and when incorporated into a wedding, even more love.  This couple is SO unbelievably adorable, especially when the bride is rockin the gigantic mustache.  The groom looks very happy to see his bride for the first time … gotta love that first glance look in any grooms eyes.  Also, those whoopie pies … what is there even to say except i would eat endless whoopie pies for the rest of my life if i had the option and a permanent model body.  Mmm, deliciousness!  All of this loveliness was planned by Diana Ma Weddings & Events.  Check out the full featured wedding on Diana Ma’s blog!

A New Haven, CT Wedding | Orchard Cove Photography

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Style Me Pretty recently featured this elegant wedding captured by Orchard Cove Photography. So classic and so gorgeous. The bride and groom knew they wanted a New England venue that had meaning to them, so they chose New Haven Lawn Club for both ceremony and reception. This beautiful brick building has so much character, I love the “C” and “J” hanging over the door frame.. so cute! The bride chose details to match her ivory gown, such as the floral arrangements in shades of cream, white and blush. Table centerpieces and bouquets were made of ranunculus, peonies, hydrangeas, and roses. Below is only a preview of the many images on Style Me Pretty, check out even more here!

A Wedding at The Endicott Estate | The Studio Nouveau

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

New Hampshire photographer, The Studio Nouveau, captured this rustic wedding at the Endicott Estate in Massachusetts. I’d have to say that the color green totally pulls all pieces of this wedding together!.. Attire, boutonnieres, spider mum bouquets, a greenhouse and surrounding nature. The ‘love bird’ theme was found throughout the wedding and seems a perfect match since this bride and groom are absolutely all smiles. Check out Studio Nouveau’s blog for even more of this beautiful rustic wedding!

A Maine Love Fest | Geneve Hoffman Photography

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Welcome to Casie and Joe’s Love Fest!  That adorable DIY wedding sign kind of makes me want to start calling all weddings love fests … love fest planners, love fest bands, love fests.  Catchy huh?  Well, this little love fest was filled with very cute details.  Colorful twig balls were hung on each chair and used as decor during the ceremony.  Love the creativity happening here.  This couple even had their own General Store!  I love this.  General Stores scream New England to me.  Especially New Hampshire and Vermont … fitting since they were married in the New Hampshire mountains.

I have really loved seeing when both the bride and groom, groom groom, or bride and bride wear white.  I think it’s a great way to come together and stand out at your wedding.  The orange tie is a great accent against the grooms white suite, wouldn’t you say?  Check out some photos from the wedding below and visit Geneve Hoffman’s blog to see the full wedding.

An Alyson’s Orchard Wedding | Kendal J. Bush Photography

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

This beautiful wedding took place on the ever-s0-lovely Alyson’s Orchard.  The beautiful grounds are a perfect backdrop to any wedding, the trees, the water, and the paths – can’t you just imagine yourself breathing in that crisp air!  This is one of the many reasons why i love New England … the amazing hills and trees and fresh air.  What a perfect quintessential New England venue.

The wedding was photographed by Kendal J. Bush Photography and the end results were stunning!  I love the elegant decor and the soft pink and white bridal bouquet, although my absolute fav. shot is the last one.  The couple kissing on the broken dock is so romantic!  A little Notebook-esque i think.  Take a look at some of the photos from this beautiful orchard wedding and visit Kendal J Bush Photography to view the full wedding.

Ben and Scott Get Married!

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Okay so remember how a little while ago we posted an adorable engagement session filled with love and typewriters by Alexandra Roberts Photography?  Well, Ben and Scott, the engaged couple in the previous post, got married!  I was so siked when i found this on Alex’s blog … i love this couples style.  There was an intimate ceremony, in which they read from The Great Gatsby.

The couple included a few of their amazing typewriters from their collection into the wedding as well.  Instead of having a traditional guest book, the typewriters were there to have guests type notes on pieces of personalized paper.  I love this idea!  Way to incorporate your style, guys .. very cool.  Also, instead of having a wedding cake made for them – they decided to make their own!  I lovveeee diy-ers with a huge passion.  Especially being so bold as to make your own wedding cakes!  They made little carrot cakes, with little pecans on top, and had pints of ben and jerry’s for guests to choose from … oh.my.gosh., delish!  B&J’s is a life staple of mine.  A flavor for any mood : )

Hope you enjoyed this amazing wedding by Alexandra Roberts Photography … visit her blog to see the full wedding!

A Coastal Wedding | MAC Photography

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

New Hampshire wedding photographer, MAC Photography captured this gorgeous coastal New England wedding this past June.  I love the details – the blueberry filled champagne, the starfish stationery, and of course the shoes.  I’m a girl who just lovesss her shoes (yep count ‘em 3 “s”s tacked onto that love right there)!  The beach side location was a perfect setting for photographs, it looked like a nearly perfect day!  Check out the beautiful coastal wedding below and visit MAC Photography on my Kate Parker Wedding!
