Kristin Korpos | Engagement Session at the BCAE Kitchen

Monday, October 4th, 2010

Get ready to start drooling … a. over those amazing looking fajitas and b. over the amazingly cute couple and c. over the amazing talent that is flowing out of Kristin Korpos’s camera.  What a creative and fun idea for an engagement session!  I think it’s so great when a couple take something they love, i.e. cooking, and incorporates it into their engagement session.  I know that when I have my engagement photographs taken, I will feel SO much more comfortable being photographed doing an activity that i enjoy with my fiancee, rather than just hangin out in the city. But that’s just me.

I think doing what you love for your engagement session, whether its going for a walk in the park, or cooking or bowling or just lounging in your house, is the perfect way to reflect who you are as a couple.  Kristin Korpos did such a fantastic job at capturing the vivacity and fun of this engagement session.  Well, I love these photographs way too much to keep on writing about them, so go ahead, dive in!  You can see the full engagement session on Kristin Korpos’ blog!

Thanks to Kristin Korpos Photography for sharing!

Audra Bayette | Brooksby Farm Wedding at Smith Barn

Friday, October 1st, 2010

This beautiful barn wedding photographed by Audra Bayette has such great details.  One of my favorites?  The pies!  I love the idea of having pies instead of a wedding cake – especially for a barn wedding.  The homestyle atmosphere was perfect for the barn venue, and from the looks of it, it seems like every single person had a blast!  The homemade koozies and the apple butter favors/name cards are so awesome.  I love how the favors double as name cards … DIY, money-saver, and super adorable.  And if you scroll down to the very bottom … you will find the most adorable part : ) three little kiddies with fake mustaches and boas, having fun playing dress-up in the photo booth!   Check out the gorgeous photographs below and see the full wedding on Audra Bayette’s blog!

Orchard Cove Photography | A Preppy Meets Rustic Wedding

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Avery and Ben’s wedding was a J. Crew meets Lily Pulitzer meets a more rustic, cozy style.  All of the elements came together so nicely, and the attire was Adorable with a capital A.  Also, the brides hair was like, miles long of gorgeousness and her up-do was so fitting!  I love all of the twists.  And while we’re still on the subject of attire – check out the groom’s tie .. yes .. that is a tequila shot tie.  LOVE IT.  I’ve never seen anything like it … props for finding that one, groom.  There were also two adorable lab pups that were involved in the wedding festivities and they seemed to enjoy themselves quite nicely!  Check out this beautiful wedding photographed by Orchard Cove Photography below and see the full wedding as featured on Orchard Cove Photography’s blog.

Relive Photography | Stonewall Farm Wedding

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Vintage and farms …. LOVE IT.  Two styles that seamlessly go together in this beautiful wedding.  The bride’s red shoes are killer and the grooms adidas are totally what my brother is wearing at his wedding .. this is a good thing, I’m liking that style a lot.  I love the casual style and the romantic barn setting.  Also, how cute is it that the bride and groom incorporate the farm animals into their photography!  Brave.  I might have a slight fear of birds/poultry.  But the photographs are just stunning and Relive Photography did an amazing job at capturing all of the moments, even the animals and the jumping shots – who knew jumping shots could actually look that fun!   I think the sillier you jump, the better the photograph.  Check out the wedding below and see the full feature on Relive Photography’s blog!

North Conway Engagement Session | Birch Blaze Photography

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

I love this couple!  And, of course, the views.  How beautiful is North Conway … the mountains and clouds and cliffs are spectacular!  Now this is what I think of when I think New Hampshire.  Birch Blaze Photography did such a great job capturing the couple’s spirit and adventure while also catching the beautiful scenery.  I love the shot of the couple on the rocky slopes from a distance.  Thank you Kerry and Taylor for sharing this beautiful engagement session!

Diana Ma Weddings | Real Wedding

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

Dogs, dessert buffet’s, and DIY photo booths.  3 things on my oh-goodness-i-love-this list … and when incorporated into a wedding, even more love.  This couple is SO unbelievably adorable, especially when the bride is rockin the gigantic mustache.  The groom looks very happy to see his bride for the first time … gotta love that first glance look in any grooms eyes.  Also, those whoopie pies … what is there even to say except i would eat endless whoopie pies for the rest of my life if i had the option and a permanent model body.  Mmm, deliciousness!  All of this loveliness was planned by Diana Ma Weddings & Events.  Check out the full featured wedding on Diana Ma’s blog!

The Proposal | Ned Jackson Photography

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Ned Jackson Photography captured this amazing proposal at the Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier.  Brian, the propose-er, had gotten in touch with Ned about his idea to propose to propose-ee, Martha, while Ned hid out amongst the crowd, capturing the details as the proposal unfolded.  Ned, despite his six-foot-four-ness, remained hidden and unseen by Martha.  What a perfect way to capture an engagement session while the emotions are truly fresh and genuine.  Also … Brian proposed to Martha’s daughter that day as well … with a ring pop.  I love that!  Two girls, two rings, and a happy happy man = a very special day.  Congratulations!  See the full story and slideshow on Ned Jackson’s blog!

Congratulations to Brian and Martha!

A New Haven, CT Wedding | Orchard Cove Photography

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Style Me Pretty recently featured this elegant wedding captured by Orchard Cove Photography. So classic and so gorgeous. The bride and groom knew they wanted a New England venue that had meaning to them, so they chose New Haven Lawn Club for both ceremony and reception. This beautiful brick building has so much character, I love the “C” and “J” hanging over the door frame.. so cute! The bride chose details to match her ivory gown, such as the floral arrangements in shades of cream, white and blush. Table centerpieces and bouquets were made of ranunculus, peonies, hydrangeas, and roses. Below is only a preview of the many images on Style Me Pretty, check out even more here!

A Wedding at The Endicott Estate | The Studio Nouveau

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

New Hampshire photographer, The Studio Nouveau, captured this rustic wedding at the Endicott Estate in Massachusetts. I’d have to say that the color green totally pulls all pieces of this wedding together!.. Attire, boutonnieres, spider mum bouquets, a greenhouse and surrounding nature. The ‘love bird’ theme was found throughout the wedding and seems a perfect match since this bride and groom are absolutely all smiles. Check out Studio Nouveau’s blog for even more of this beautiful rustic wedding!
